Breaking into the property market is no easy task, especially in a market where prices continue to rise.
If you are buying or building a new home commencing construction from the 20th of November 2024 you could be entitled to the $30,000 first homeowners grant in QLD.
That means a home like this would cost you as little as $59,000 after receiving the grant.
Keep in mind, this figure does not take into consideration the cost of your land or onsite costs - however, If you are planning on placing your new tiny home on a relatives block of land, you still remain eligible for the $30,000 grant.
To be eligible for the QLD First Home Owners Grant you:

Need to be 18 years old.

Need to be an Australian citizen or permanent resident.

Need to have not previously received a first home concession in any state or territory of Australia.

Must not have previously owned a home in Australia.

Must move into your new home within a year of the completed transaction and live there for 6 months.

Must be buying or building a home valued at less than $750,000 including the cost of your land.

Substantially renovated
